Our Mary Magdala celebration was fabulous! Barbara Moore, our homilist reminded us that Mary Magdala, the Apostle to the Apostle has been maligned throughout history. “She had a bad rap!” She was ostracized by the church just as we are today.
The colorful celebration began with the distribution of red carnations. The community wore our “pride” stoles as a symbol of the Priesthood of all Believers.
